nausea from eating

well over the last week my apetite have been a bit off. It started with just not being able to finish my meals. now i can hardly handle eating half of them.
I feel nauseous for most of the day and expecially after meals.

I havent changed anything in my diet, sleep, lifting routine, stress, ect.... everything is fine. I Dont know what to do, i just always feel sick to my stomach.

i take in 3200cal, 400g pro,200g carb, 85g fat.
I take beverly international vitamin multi pack
trueprotein CEE
flax oil
tons of green tea.

any suggestions on what to do? Im really tired of feeling sick! My lifting has continued to progress fine so I dont know what to think!

oh also, Last thursday I had a massage, it was an extremely intense deep masage, I felt more sore than my most extreme workouts.. im still a bit tender still.

I was thinking it may have something to do with this, as it started about the same time frame. I know after seeing my chiropractor/kenesiology ive felt nauseous for a few hours or so afterwords. i dont know probably unrelated

any suggestions would be awesome!!

thanks

sounds like you'll have to follow an elimination protocol.

one by one, eliminate things from your diet and wait 48 hours to see if things improve.

i'd start with the green tea, then cee, then the multivitamin, then the flax oil.

if that doens't help, post your diet - maybe you're reacting to something in there.

while good advice by threenorns I suspect it has nothing to with anything supplement-wise unless it was recently added since this problem is only a week old.

you say you kept training but were tender from a deep massage. maybe your burnt out, over-training

take a 7-9 day break, if you have been going to the gym solid for over 12 weeks then a week, even 2 weeks off wont do any harm, in fact it'll do a whole lotta good

DougoeFre5h is an unknown quantity at this point
Could be a worm or bacteria, its more common than you think and if you were to tell your doctor of your symptoms he'd probably check for such a problem.

I think i may have figured out what is going on.

I think i may be lactose intolerant. over the last 7 weeks ive been eating lots of cottage cheese, whey protein and other dairy's.... i noticed last night i had my lean beef w/ rice meal, felt ok, still a bit off feeling. before bed I had my cottage cheese and about 20 minutes later started sweating and feeling pretty ill. It's new cottage cheese so i dont think it's bad. Also this morning I decided to skip my regular breakfst and have toast and a protein shake. i got to work about 30 minutes later and broke into a total sweat, it's been about 2 hours and im feeling a bit better but i still feel nausea....

Im thinking either over time become sensative to lactose (even though i drink whey protein isolate) or, since my stomach is messed up in the first place it cant handle the dairy but that is not the cause.... I dont know what to do, im almost scared to eat but im hungry.

also about a week or so ago i had some cottage cheese that tasted really bitter and sour, i only ate like 3 spoonfulls but i dont know if that could be related either!

lastly, a lady at work went home sick on monday throwing up and feeling sick... now i havent thrown up but i feel damd ill... I wonder if it's related.....

anyways any suggestions would be great! I may have to break down and see a doctor if all else fails but I dont have insurance so i'm saving that as a last resort!

thanks

damn.... i'm SO GLAD i live in canada!

well, the logical first step then is to eliminate all dairy from your diet for five days. i know it sucks, but do it anyway.

Whey concentrate has at most 3 grams of sugar (lactos) a serving generally. So the logic isn't completely there for dairy being the problem. I'd go to the doctor, there's a good chance you'r just sick man. It happens and that's what they are there for. Take some time out of the gym because your'e sick reguardles of over training. Health and well being have to come first.
