Pretty excited to watch this thing pan out if it creates enough interest.
Flyer's pretty much done, going to post it around and work on getting some sponsored supps for prizes or something similar. Get an easy to use calculator to calculate your weight to use--then we will be good to go! |

Possibly something along thar lines,
Weight is by the chart As many reps in a set time, say 3 minutes You must release bar between reps, standing up to reset is optional Reps must be fully locked out, no hitching 3 judges will review submissions, each rep judged individually, majority decision by judges as to which reps count. I nominate Ex, Kabuki and myself as judges, all elite and or pro lifters with 700+# pulls. Just a few suggestions Sent from my PC36100 using Tapatalk 2

Posted up a calculator to make the job a little easier. Some things still in the works, but they should be working properly. http://liftersloot.com/calculators.php
Its the light windowed one on the right "competition calculator". Be useful for exact weights. Don't mind the rounding to the 10th decimal place, going to fix that.

smaller guys "normally" have an advantage in these kinds of comps. esp with the wilks and similar comparisons.

I'm actually predicting a bigger guy in the 240-260lb area with an 800 raw pull has a high chance to win 1st. Can't imagine how light <500lbs must feel to a guy with 800 1RM! If anyone's got any other ideas that are more fair across all weight classes let me know! |
