How specific do calories need to be for a cut?

Gaining weight is easy. Losing weight, not so simple. I'm on my first real cut and tossing out to better brains than myself how specific I should be on calories. For example, if I figure I need to eat 108 grams of a banana should I trim off the 108 or is 115 close enough. Should I worry about any macro nutrient specifically more than other?

The first twenty pounds I lost was easy. This last ten, not so much.

Let me say for the record: I ain't no mornon.

I do realize as long as my weight is going down and my lifts are going up I'm gaining. I guess, I just want to hear advice, if it's coming and if not what you all think about your first real cut.

weighing and measuring your foods and paying attention to total cals and macros is important. depending on how lean you want to get it can be very important. plus by doing this you will learn your body and what works for you an d what doesn't.

i have a lot of my guys well into single digit bf% and hitting some nice numbers.

90% of people out there will under-estimate how much food they eat. When I first started tracking how much I was eating daily, and what my macro ratios were it was a big eye-opener.

Tracking cals really increases your odds of success in losing bodyfat, and it's not that difficult to do once you get a bit of a system in place.

I did a bit of an experiment a while back and timed how long I spent over the course of a day weighing & measuring foods and it was less than 15 minutes per day. Pretty minimal amount of time.
