You would have to drink 8-10 cups of green tea to get the same amount of of Polyphenols and ECGC's as a green tea extract capsule.

For some people the extract is easier than 10 cups of tea. I enjoy drinking my tea so I don't take capsules.

LifeExtension makes the best extract which is like 98% polyphenols I think in a 750mg cap. for like $22 @ amazon.

Wow the pills are way cheaper if I need to make 10 bags daily...I don't like the taste, so I'm going to give it a shot, thanks guys.

I brew 3 quarts a day using 10-12 bags depending on the brand. I brew mine with stevia and honey and drink it throughout the day, tastes great.

Brewing your own tea can actually be less costly if you buy your tea loose. I'm paying about $7 for 4oz of high quality loose tea at a small chinese tea store. Last me many months. Since loose tea can be re-brewed several times.

I had to switch to capsules since the 10bags of tea was bloating me alot.

I just follow the dosage Wesley gave me years ago and I feel great
