First I'll write a little bit about my background as I've not really written anything about it yet. I started training not long after my 17th birthday (I'm 23 now) and I weighed around 130-135 lbs at 5'11". Not a good look. Bad posture from playing computer games for hours on end. I'll try and find some pictures from before I started at some point. Put on a fair amount of size but also a lot of fat. I got upto around 190 lbs but didn't look great. Looked bulky but no definition at all and a big belly. Here's some older pics after not training for long, some pics of me looking fat and some what I looked like when I started training with John (ordered by date):

I got to around 100 kg on bench, 130 kg on squat, 180 kg on deadlift for reps but I was stuck around April last year and wish I had hired John a lot earlier. I've learnt so much in just... almost 3 months I think it is now. I signed up for 12 months and got 3 free but even if you sign up for the lowest option, you learn so much which you can't unlearn again. Although I haven't hit any huge numbers yet, as I started with lighter weights to correct form issues, I've almost nailed my form on every exercise. Deadlift form has changed dramatically as you can see in the videos above and over the next few months I'm pretty confident I'm gonna be hitting big numbers, especially on the deadlift as it's John's speciality! The routine he gave me is a strength routine but with a lot of volume, it's brutal but I love it and I'm getting results fast. http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7164/6...973915dd_b.jpg On this one, the left one is a couple of years ago (11th April 2008) but I was around that size before I started with John, just with a little less fat. The one on the right is about a month old and is about 6 weeks of cutting down on carbs, mainly from milk, and John's routine. Before I started training with John I was around 185 lbs. I haven't even asked John for diet help yet as I'm just kinda doing a common sense approach and always have. I get enough protein in and don't measure anything. Now I'm around 175 lbs and taking in much less carbs, I put a sample day into a website and it came out at around 2800 cals, 40/30/30 ratio, pcf. Obviously that will vary a lot as I don't measure and eat differently every day. Looking forward to getting down to around 8% with John's help though which I know will take a lot more thought and effort. After the picture in the changing room with my blue joggers on was taken I had 2 scoops of whey and 2 cookies . Next level post workout nutrition manoeuvre! My weight on the scale is still around 175 lbs despite my change in appearance too so I'm gaining muscle, getting stronger, getting bigger and leaner, and he has given me some exercises and stretches to do to fix my posture which is helping quickly too. Hire him naaaaaooooow! Well worth the money and you won't regret it. He's also a great guy, not intimidating at all to speak to and will sit and speak about training, answer all your OCD questions and will generally have a laugh with you about anything (including your accent haha) ![]() And here's one of the guns! http://farm8.staticflickr.com/7148/6...f3201dc9_b.jpg

Thanks guys! Gonna hit my strength goals soon and gonna be bigger and leaner than ever before... Good times! Then it will be time to set some even bigger goals
