Enjoying the journey, living the dream!

Blackjack suggested I start a log here so here I am. Im a 20 year old college student. Planning on going to dental school. Lifting weights pretty much keeps me sane between working, class, and studying.

Feel free to jump in with advice, critiques, random shit or just whatever is on your mind.

Im about 5'9 on a good day. Weight right around 190 at the moment. I am doing IF for the time being just for the sake of convenience and I am gonna lose a little bf.
As far as lifting... I am using 5/3/1 % for my compound lifts and then my own accessory work. I work out 4 days a week and about to start some cardio 2 days a week, nothing major just some sprints.
I typically have a refeed on Saturdays, right now its just eating all kinds of stuff while we tailgate for football games. Although I am keeping it within the 6-8 hour range.

If I think of anything else important I will throw it out there. If you have any questions feel free to ask away.

Good to be here and hope to get some help along the way!

Yeah I will get some vids up when I can. I will be posting up progress pics from time to time as well as some random pics of stuff.

Hopefully I will get some starting pictures up in the next few days then get at it!

Most everything I post will be the top sets.

Bench - 225x11

Incline DB - 95x8

Dips - bw+55x13

Pec dec - 4x12

Tri ext - 4x12

DB curl - 45x10

Felt weak and sluggish this morning but think its because of lack of sleep. Going to up the carbs a bit for today and try to get some sleep tonight, hopefully not getting sick!

Thanks for the compliments fellas.

Gonna post macros here so I will have some incentive to make sure I keep up with them which really isnt that hard when IF.

255/110/45 P/C/F - Keep in mind these are all a bit higher because I dont count all macros in things. Like peanut butter, I only count the fat content because thats what I am eating it for.

Muscles did not feel near as flat today, should hit baseline by the morning.
DL did not go so well today or not near as well as planned. This will be my 3 rd cycle of 5/3/1 without a deload so I think it is time for one after this cycle.

DL - 325x9

Rack chins - bw+10x8 - 3 sets

CG row - 4x12

Pulldown - 4x8

Decline sit ups - bw+25x12 - 3 sets

All my back stuff (besides DL) is really focusing on TUT. Back width is really a downfall for me because my bi's tend to completely take over so I am trying to lower the weight and really get a mind/muscle connection.

MP - 155x10

CGBP - 225x7, 185 - 3x8

DB laterals - 30x8, 15s - 3x12

Face pulls - 4x12

pullaparts - 5x10

Pullups - 3x8

Pinwheels - 60x10

I am starting to add a little more volume after my top sets, nothing heavy just to change things up a bit.
I need some help on db laterals... I am a absolutely weak as hell on these and I always have been or any type of lateral raise for that matter. Any suggestions?

I think I am going to add some machine work for shoulders, chest, and back on my off days just to up the frequency a bit
