There are lots of good choices, but let me know if you want some direction.

This place also has a pomegranate flavored GT and a Jasmine GT. Just search for those.

Wait till you try looseleaf GT, you won't go back to bags.

Also I posted this in another thread, but you should be brewing your tea twice IMO. Once hot, and then once cold. The different temps get you the most out of it. I could post studies but if you are really interested PubMed will tell you everything you need.
Thanks for that! I notice even on the "better" quality bagged teas I can get more than one use out of them. Not so on the cheaper ones I get for more bulk drinking. I love grinding my own coffee beans, so I don't doubt loose tea is where it's at.

The tea from Starwest is a great deal, thanks again for the link. It works out to $1.16 an ounce (less if buying more since the shipping cost on one is almost as much as the tea, but hardly goes up when ordering 2lbs), while the Salada tea is $2 for 1.83 ounce. I'm usually very good about buying more to spend less, but that went right under the radar. I may have to buy a bagged Jasmine tea to get the taste for it, since the jasmine-green tea on the other site is also a good deal. If it's anything like chamomile, I'll enjoy it.

When I brew green tea in my (small) tea pot using boiled water, I can usually take one full pot but if I have another even later in the day, I usually get a real bad headache. Whats the deal? I dont think its the caffeine since that doesnt usually have the same effect, but this has happened to me for as long as I can remember.

OK, so I've been drinking the Starwest gunpowder green tea for a little while now, and it's pretty good! I like the smoky flavor. I put a tablespoon in my french press and that makes 32 ounces (give or take) of the green. I'm able to reuse the tea several times...I pour the first batch to drink, then fill it up again. After the second time I'll fill it up again, and then pour that into jars for cold tea at some later time. That makes the loose tea a great deal right there. I'll have to try getting some peppermint or spearmint to add to the standard green tea the next time I have to buy some. Thanks, Siberian.

Yeah...it's good stuff. I bought a bag of loose Thai green tea a month ago and have been drinking a gallon a day and the bag's not even halfway gone. So it's definitely a lot more cost-effective. And I don't re-brew it, either.

Cheers! Gotta get John on the stuff...actually works out to be as cheap, if not cheaper than the Salada green tea.

Siberian is an unknown quantity at this point
Glad you guys are liking it! I don't think many people would describe me as a snobby person, but I am a bit of a tea snob LOL.

Once I went to loose tea, I couldn't turn back
