Koonzies Log

Figured I'd start a log considering I can't remember what I do anymore, and this is a great way to keep track of progress... or lack thereof. My stats are 19 years old, 5'6, 139 pounds. I'm trying to cut down to 135 for the summer. I train for power and explosiveness for long jump. Currently I'm on an upper/lower/upper/lower split and I workout Monday, Wednesday, Friday. So here's my first workout of my holiday cycle...

Friday 12/17 Lower Body

Sumo Deadlift
5x135
5x185
3x225
2x275
2x315
1x355
1x385 (Went up nicely but lost my balance at the top and stumbled around a little bit lol, I guess I locked out too far)
Failx390 (I had nothing left in the tank by this point)

Dumbbell Snatch
(I have no DBs so I had to use a curling bar with plates)
6x40
6x60
4x80
4x80
4x80

Side Bends (Not sure if this is what I actually did by I had a plate and twisted side to side while balancing on my ass)
5x25
5x35
5x35
5x35 (Way too easy but I need to get the balance aspect of the lift down)

Workout was sehr gut today, probably because I took about 2 weeks off from lifting.

How are you progressing on this style of routine Nick? You've been doing this same format rotating lifts for a while now right?

Just asking. Ill comment what I was thinking if progress stalls or an imbalance/weakness presents itself. And I would do snatches before deads

Today was a very special day, I was honored to be coached by professor Hopkins in both the squat and Goodmorning. We discovered that I have a hamstring weakness and therefore my squat sucks ass. So my new training routine is going to be hamstring dominant.

Wednesday 12/22 Lower Body

Dumbbell Snatches

6x35
6x60
4x80
4x80
4x80

(Box) Squats
Can't remember everything, all I know is I worked up to doubles of 135, working on form

Goodmornings
Can't remember everything again, I ended with sets of 95.

Decline Situps
BWx8
25x8
25x8
25x8

Sehr informativ Tag, I now know I have to beast hammies.
