Are you better with sumo stance, or some other reason doing them?

Form check vid of yesterday's sump pulls:

I've run through all the dumbells in my little gym, heaviest they are meant to go is 22.5kg, so I rigged up a couple of the oly plates to get up to 30kg for 1-arm snatches yesterday. Something about the balance and the diameter of those weights (had to keep it further out from my body) made using this WAY harder than a normal DB...I liked it..

Right now I am pulling a lot less than i do conventional. My conventional had stalled out and EX had me switch to Sumo. First couple times felt pretty awkward but I think I'm getting the hang of it

Lunch break: 1 hour San shou practice

After work:

Wanted to do floor press but had no spotter, my setup disallows so did:

Paused flat bench 2x4x100kg. Wrist was killing me, rolled it a bit sparring today
Steep incline bench 2x10x60kg
Machine fly 2x10x70kg
Military press just failed all over the place, having trouble with this lift
2x Cable pushdown to fail SS 20kg bb 20 curls + 20 reverse curls

Funny you need a spotter for floor presses. I can just bend my forearms and it will drop on the floor few inches off my ribcage.

It's cause I don't actually have a full cage, I just have a squat rack that has rails. If lay on the floor between the rails they are too high for me to lift the bar off so I need someone to shrug up the bb, step out past the rails and then hand it to me....

wear wrist wraps when benching from now on (buy some if you dont have them). sumos looked solid overall. couple of them you stiff legged it a bit. focus on hips and knees locking out at the same time.

im partial to these wraps medium length http://www.inzernet.com/detail.asp?P...PS_IRON_WRISTZ

Got it, thanks EX.

Getting ready to go on an extended business trip. Heading to Beijing tomorrow for some meetings and then fly to the US on Wed. Trying to get as much lifting in as I can, but extremely busy, no lunch break today, only lifting after work:

Box Squat just below parallel 1x6x125kg 1x6x130kg PR! (6 weeks ago my 1RM was 140kg...something tells me I'll be blowing that away next week when I retest )

1-arm DB swings 3x10x27.5kg
leg extension 1x40x35kg 3 pauses
GHR 2x10 w/ red band
Prison Rape machine 1x15x30kg 1x18x30kg
no time for calf raises today
