Different Spin on WSB one day training
I did this with the guys a few sessions ago...talk about a focker in a half.
Train 5 sets for 5 reps maybe 3. Get close to PR or beat it. No secondary work, rest for about 3 minutes maybe 5. THEN Pick up 100 pound dumbells (depending on your PR and weight) DO 100 reps with 100 pound dumbells. Take how every many sets to get there BUT GET THERE....or go until you can't perform one rep. Man this beat my chest down but i think it broke a plateau...or a few fibers LOL Just something to put a spin on things. I am not expert, just try it. I would love to say it took me four sets...but i would be lieing my arse off there....good luck IC

Louis does stuff like that all the time. Only he can get the 100 reps in 1-2 sets--lol

Ha Ha... yeah i am not there bro...BUT i was the first to finish out of the group i was with that day...man talk about being a target after that. Those guys hate when i beat PR's or antyhing...as i am known as the Body Builder..LMAO they are always like...yeah look at the body builder eat...yeah he is a body builder...LOL
They are trying to make me convert. I think they sense an elite in the future. BUT first things first...got to enter BB comp and place to build my name. then maybe convert to PL later to build the training Empire. LOL

If you recover failrly well you can do both. But you will always be making a bit of a sacrifice near competition time for either. Dextor does OK doing both

Dextor is a WAY above me bro.
I like Gunther, got to stay with my german brethern. LOL Yeah i am trying to work both...i want to come in at my first show and for people to be like wow, who is he? The Ohio down here is big in the competing world. Well at least for me. That is my first show i attended and i knew i wanted to be there on stage. I can make some drastic changes from there. I thought about putting it off. but if i never try i might now ever think i can get up there. You know. Always second guessing. I am getting on there even if i am fat! LOL

i do 100 rep sets every once in a while. it feels great and sometimes helps bust through a plateau.
