I'm pretty sure that you're right. I usually don't have to force myself to eat because i'm starving by that time, but if im busy that night and i dont get to eat until really late, I don't feel like making all the food that i should really be eating (eg. salad and vegetables). I just end up stuffing my face with carbs and meat together and get full too quick.

You have to eat like Ori says, vegetables first, protein, then carbs if you need. And don't drink water while eating. I love how tight my stomach feels when I start overeating, theres no bloating, it just feels like I'm throwing the food into my stomach and its getting absorbed instantly! Its pretty cool.

Im working full time and dont make it home till 6-6:30 and I usually workout asap so i wouldnt be eating till 7-8pm.

The WD got my attention as I was wanting to get back into eating right and working out again like I did last year but now I see the strict regime of eating 5+ meals as too complicated/time intensive. I have no problem being dedicated and have tried eating that way for over a year but that regimen takes up too much time and energy to be feasible for me. Also as I see it, it affords limited to no flexibility to schedule fluctuations/changes or when life throws one curve balls. I wanted that extra time back, to eat healthy and to keep it simple. I then stumbled onto IA's WD threads and got hooked.

After reading the book I started the WD in May30th so it's been about a month now and I'm really enjoying it. When I started the WD I also got back into exercising and now do circuit training 2x week and doing HIIT 3xweek as well (I'm not interested in massing, just functional strength and conditioning).

My protocol with the WD thus far:
Small prefeast meals (usually @ 9am, noon and 3pm):
I blend up in my vitamix a variety of veggies such as kale, spinach, broccoli, carrots, parsley, celery followed by adding some blueberries and strawberries at roughly an 80/20 ratio of veg to berries. I then add 2 scoops of gemma protein from TN (personal preference) flavored with stivia. I might add a few scoops of greek yogurt in there too. When I'm done blending I have my 3 meals (roughly 3-16oz shakes). I fill up a 32oz container for work and drink the rest (around 16 or so ounces).

Feast meals: I don't count macros. I eat until I'm full. More specifically I've been pretty gluttonous and felt like I was going to explode a few times. lol I do have a big salad though premeal, I just don't limit what I've eaten after the salad (I wanted to test this and see how I'd do with out worrying about macros).

As I've been doing this for about a month now this is where I'm at:
-I've lost about 3 lbs of body weight
-I've made significantly faster strength gains in my circuit training routine this time around then when last on it a year ago when I ate low carb.
-I measured my BF with my tanita scale that uses Bioelectric Impedance. I know they can be off from the actual result but I thought if it was just accurate in relation to myself then I could monitor progress with it. Where as I started tracking my daily weight progression from the start of the WD, thus far I've only been tracking my BF measurements on my scale for the past 11 days. However while it does have daily small changes it hasn't changed much at all from 11 days ago (infact my 11 day ago reading matched what I saw on the scale today). I know BI is effected by water in the body and since I take my measurements when I get up after pissing I thought it would keep all things equal so I'd get some results since it's done all at the same time. Well either I'm not loosing bf, or more likely my scale isn't measuring that right as I have lost 3lbs and gained a good bit of strength and conditioning.
-I've noticed I wake up much easier in the morning usually. In fact I wake at dawn, where as I never use to do that before.
-My energy levels are decent and consistent through out the day now. I am not impacted like I use to if I had to delay lunch and I don't get tired like I would if I had a full lunch.
-Another interesting thing, I've been taking 3 digestive enzymes with my feast and now I go number 2 MUCH less. Not constipated, not with all the veggies I've been eating. It just must be my body absorbing more of the food and thus having less waste. Anywhy wondering if anyone else experienced that too?
-Oh and I take roughly 6 caps of fish oil a day (2 at breakfast and 4 at the feast) as well as vitamin D3, and a 1/day multi.

Closing comments:
Thus far this diet affords me a lot of flexibility with extra free time as well as letting me eat with out restriction thusly my feast meal makes me feel very happy and satisfied every day. Also the detox phase may help one to live longer if ya believe all the science which can't hurt. Also if I wanted to loose LBS faster I'm sure I could easily just by gorging myself a little less every night. To sum up, this diet has been cake to do thus far for me and I see myself eating WD style for likely a LONG time.

Note: I'm keeping a personal log, noting when I make changes so I can fine tune this more over time.

I wake up at 2 am to ride my to work 5-6 times a week and I fast until 4 hours before I go to sleep. It works fine for me

I did both WD and lean gains, had great result with both of them. But i regret not counting Cals and keeping track on my Macros in the past. Now i just started counting Cals and tracking Macros, get way better result with it. Just sharing my experience so people wont repeat the same mistake that i did.

I noticed I wasn't loosing weight/bodyfat with eating as much as I could at the feast portion of the diet (I felt more like I was bingeing). As such this past Tuesday I made an adjustment to eat less at at feast time for the next few days. Well I measured my body weight this morn and I'm down 4lbs in 3 days (165.8 > 161.8 which is less then ideal) but wow.. heh, well I'll eat more at dinner tonight but its nice to know if I dial back a little at the feast I'll be dropping lbs looks like.

Also while many have advised it, I don't want to 'count' calories yet as I think personally, I can figure this out by feel from what I've noticed thus far on the diet.
