BB Rows
After doing BB Rows i have found that my upper back and rear delts are more sore than my lats or middle back. Is this correct or could i have a form problem. Is it right for me to be kind of sitting back on my heels during the movement like on squats?

Thanks EX, I will have to do that. By the video i think i am standing upright to much and bending my legs a little to much. I guess only the video will tell.

or a training pard who knws what to look for.
ideally i like to be about 30-35° with a flat back and nothing should move cept the arms. of course this is perfect form and impossible to get but as close as possible. do not round off on these, do not shrug the weight and do not do upright rows to the belly. also i like to bring the bar to the crease in my torso and legs, at the bend. |

very nice clips ex, if im doing cable rows its not necessary to push my elbows past my sides is it? ie from my shoulder down to elbow should be aligned with my side
where abouts do i aim to bring my arms in?

for seted i try to touch the handle to my belly. i use a small closed grip handle for these. for one arms i use a full range of motion. so yes my elbows go past my sides. but thats how i do them and everybody is different. other than seated i dont use the cable machines for rows. i like hammer strength and free weights. i used to d 1 arms but 150s is the heviest we got and i can rep them all day. guess i could rig a band up some how on these. =0) |

Yah I got a kick out of the guy in the red shirt too LMAO. When I was in college i was in the gym and saw some guys doing the same thing. Even then, when I didnt know what "olympic plates" were lol, I still knew that couldn't be right. Funny too, your probably right, someone probably showed him that.
And i know, it's surprising the dude is struggling with 225 on rows compared to his big 3 lifts...
