fruit okay for mass gain?
is fresh fruit an acceptable source of carbs for gaining? would it increase fat gain?

Yes, of course. They key to lean mass gains is having enough kcals and protein to allow solid muscle growth, while not injesing so much you get fat. When adding mass carbs GENERALLY allow faster mass gains than trying to do it with primarily protein/fat. Again, te key is having just enough carbs so glycogen stores and overall energy levels are good, yet not so much that they spill over to fat stores.
