Back Tightness

If you do gear, especially things like tren, d-ball and even high dose test, you will likely at some point suffer from back tightness/cramps. This can be quite excruciating and often stops people from getting through a full workout. Hell some people get it so bad they have a hard time just walking more than a couple of blocks without the pump shutting them down.

If this is you, one of your biggest challenges will be determining how much is attributed to the gear pump, and how much may be back pain/spasm from overuse. No need to tell you many people on gear overtrain excessively and often are on the verge of having a minor or major back injury quite often. If you are totally convinced that the back tightness/pain you are feeling is all because of the gear pump, you are likely to just keep pushing when you should be resting.

It is difficult to tell were the tightness is coming from often, and the only way many are able to differentiate is if they have done a solid dose while doing no lower back/heavy full-body lifts. Which for many, is a situation that has never occurred. If in doubt take it easy for a couple of sessions and see if it is aliviated. No one wants to train light while on a cycle, but no one wants to get injured either. Be aware of this situation and you may save yourself a lot of grief.

I use a heating pad on my back for 15-30 mins right before I train, to alleviate my lower back pain. I have the luxury of having a supplement store across from the gym to do this.. I have heard that there are heating pads that plug into your cig. lighter in your car, nice for the drive to the gym and the drive home.

Lightbulb back pain

i always thought that it was caused by rapid weight gain or water retention IA. i find the gear that causes more bloating such as test cypionate, enenthate, and dbol kill my lower back while test propionate, winstrol, and fina arent as bad.

dbol and tren give me huge low back pumps
I sometimes can barely walk a few minutes without feeling my low back pumped

it's not actually really sore but disturbing

Don't think so, because often when reading over test logs for new hormones (and logs for old ones) I noticed back pumps were common. However, in most cases it was dose related moreso than a characteristic side effect. So, in theory (coming from a guy whose never cycled) if you're getting great gains on dbol at 40mg/day but, you've got bad pumps, technically, you may be just fine going down to 30mg/day and could even lose the pumps or have them become less severe. Just my .02

Thx for the tip, IA.

OK OK OK heres the remedy if you training, esp deads. this happens a lot to me. i lay on the floor and put one leg up on a bench for about 10 minutes and the pain and tightness leaves. or i can lay on my side with both legs on the floor.either one works great to alleviater back tightness. dont ask me wh it works cause i dont know. kirk karwoski taught me this trick a few years back and it works every time. i dont even want to know why it works, only that it works.

and kyquicky00 is that something you read or have experienced in the gym? well......??

if you read it it may or may not work. only one way to know for sure. and 40mg/d of dbol is on the low side.

kyquicky? lol...glad to see we've all got a sense of humor.

As indicated in the post, was all reading. I said "(coming from a guy who has never cycled)"

That's why I said it's all just theory on my part. 40mg/day was just used as an example...that's all. Just thought I'd add something to try if the back pain is unbearable. It wont' hurt (well, anymore than it already does if you're in pain).
