Egg white protein
Any interest in Honeyville Grains Egg white protein? I bought a ton of this stuff a couple years back, and just have way too much. Don't worry about them being a couple years old...they come in 2.25lb sealed metal containers (same container you would buy soup or canned tomatoes in, just a lot larger). I am still using it and it is just as it was when I bought them, just have too much.
I would be willing to part with these for well under the typical cost of egg white protein. I also have some whole egg protein that I can part with as well. Have to check how many of each I have, but post in here if there's any interest. Product link here:http://store.honeyvillegrain.com/pow...whitescan.aspx |

Seems kinda interesting to try out. I can't seem to find the nutrition information on it exactly. How many servings are in the 2.25lb can and how many grams of protein per serving. Also pm me the price that your selling it for shipped to 60638.

22g protein per 1/4 cup or 27g of powder. That means 38 servings per container.
Turns out I have 3 containers of the egg whites, and 4 of the whole egg powders. P.S. Container says that these things will last 10 years minimum if sealed. All being offered here are still sealed. Last edited by Siberian; 08-05-2010 at 11:27 AM. |

Bump. Still looking to get rid of these for a low price. Take as many or few as you want. Make an offer or PM me if interested.

I assume these are unflavored? How is the taste? What have you commonly used the eggwhites for....Do you throw them into protein powders for extra protein or do you just use it by itself as a protein shake?

Yes, unflavored. You can use them as you would any other protein powder - no different than whey, casein, milk protein, etc. You can combine with others, or use on it's own. It's just a slower digesting form of powder than whey, but not as slow as casein. Iron addict has posted a number of times on the benefits of egg, casein or other protein instead of whey.
Let me know if you are interested. |

It is good quality, I bought some a few years back, and liked it fine. It doesn't mix as well as most, but my hunch is that's because there is less processing done.

Actually I was told the same thing. It is more pure/raw. At least a supplement company big wig told me that.
