Good read, I too wish I spent all the money I wasted in my teen years on chicken and milk, not cell(out) tech and hydroxycut. Damn to think of the cash I wasted, makes me mad.

"Trueprotein's custom blend of 30% Milk protein isolate, 40% whey concentrate and 30% Whey isolate cold filtered"

Why do you pick this one in particular?

Cheap. Slow and fast digesting proteins. Will get the job done.

I literally just threw out numbers.

Brent, I hear what you're saying, and I agree 110%!

However, don't you think digestive enzymes could be the exception to the rule, like Now Super Enzymes?

Do you recommend the protease enzyme complex?

Guys— There are always exceptions to everything in life. Find out what is worth it for YOU. Some people have high blood pressure, so take hawthorne berry, celery extract etc, some people have low HCL levels, so take betaine hcl, some people (most) are stupid and want to get huge pumps and waste tons of money, so take NO explode.

I take about 20 different supplements a day... but I get most for free or very cheap (and most are NOT 'to gain 14.7lbs in 14 days!!!' most are health-related and to specific needs I have, after years of finding things out...

The majority of teens need nothing more than what I stated.

This thread isn't about what is worth it, what's not. I'd rather see people take NOTHING but food for a good few years and then add in supplements.
Not that I know what I'm talking about, but would taking a good amount of fish oil be more beneficial than taking something like creatine or multi-vitamins?

That's something, I'd be interested to hear your stance on multi-vitamins.

Take whatever you want. This is ''just advice.' There are a million different substitutes for different scenarios.

I was just curious, I've never taken anything except for whey protein, which I just think of as being an extra meal, really.
