I go to work at 5:30 AM so in order to get a morning session of cardio in, it NEEDS to be done . Im still used to getting up that early from the contest in March, plus its the only time to day where its actually cooler out. XX, you gotta think of the glass as "half full" here.

Sly, keep me updated about your sprinting and what effect it has, if any, on your leg size. Please

JR.....havent heard from you in awhile. I will monitor it closely as I dont want to lose any leg size. I figure I'll measure them every two weeks. If they are getting leaner I wont mind to lose a little size but thats about it. There are a few anabolic benefits I've ready for HIIT so I'm hoping this will lean me out while holding on to what I've gained.

Hoops......you were awake to huh? Its really not as bad a people think. You just have to adjust your body clock a little. Now I might go to bed a little earlier when I wake up this early or take a little nap in the afternoon. I like the early morning because its quiet and when your done I like knowing I've accomplished something already before even starting my day.

I should say "I was still awake at 3:45." I have an extremely difficult time going to bed before 1-2 am and always have.

1) How many times a week do you do hiit?

2) Can you please try it on the stairmaster (if you want to shred your glutes)...if you don't...well then never mind

Last nights sessions

Seated DB Curls: 40 x 10 / 40 x 10 / 40 x 9
Smith Calf Raises: 225 x 20 / 275 x 20 / 315 x 15
Stiff Legged Deads: 275 x 8 / 315 x 8 / 365 x 8
Leg Press: 16 plates x 8 / 18 plates x 8 / 20 plates x 5 (Pretty spent after this )
Cable Preacher Curl: 7 plates x 12/ 8 plates x 8 / 8 plates x 7

We are really trying to bring up our biceps as we feel this is both our weakest bodypart. We have all ofour heavy oly lifts in check so we are trying to train it more frequently with some supplemental work, guess we will see what happens.

This morning: HIIT Cardio
8 - 100m sprints

Legs are sore as hell today so I may walk tomorrow for morning cardio.

J-me: I will try it if you buy me a stairmaster . Our gym doesnt open until 5:30 AM . I do a minimum of 3 HIIT sessions a week. Basically its instinctive. If I am sore and know I can get TRUE hiit session in, Ill just walk with a 50lb weighted vest instead.
