An intro with a brief history.
Hi. First let me just say how glad I am that I came across this forum. I have been weight training (incorrectly) for about 5 years, although to look at me you would think I'd only just started. Most of that time iv'e been spinning my wheels, never really knowing what I was doing. It's only been the past 8-10 months that I have even started to research and read about weight training and follow actual plans for reaching my goals. In fact, reading that last sentence back to myself I realise that I never trained with a true goal in mind, I figured just lift weights and i'll look good. Reps? Sets? Rest periods? I never gave them a thought, I just loaded the bar and went to failure on what ever body part I felt needed working for that day. Well now it's time to do things right, and I think this site can help me do it.
