The Gunslinger (King), or The Talisman (King, Straub). Great books IMO, never finished either series, was an avid Stephen King reader during my high school days somewhere north of 40 books.

I'm currently reading the Millennium Trilogy by Stieg Larsson: The Girl with the Dragon Tatoo, The Girl who played with Fire and The Girl who kicked the Hornet's Nest.

I'm on #3 and the books are absolutely fantastic!

Aren't those well-crafted? They're not only fun to read, but they have a lot to teach about thriller-writing.

My favourite has always been the Pilgrim's Progress by John Bunyan. I really love it and I was almost addicted to it once.

All star wars novels! Personal favorite of mine is Red Harvest. Star wars/zombies = great read! I highly recommend it.
