Power Snatch
95x3 115x3 135x3 155x2 175x2 185x2 205 5 singles (pr) Front Squat 135x5 225x3 315x3 380x3(pr) Military Press 135x5 185x2 205x2 225x2 235x1 Felt like crap but after warming up, I felt really strong. 205 is the most I have PS at home and it felt like nothing today. Surprised the hell out of me. Hopefully this will result in some PRs Saturday. |

Congrats on the PRs!
Btw is a power snatch where you receive the bar at about 1/4 squat height?

Thanks. Yes, a power snatch is where you catch the bar above parallel. It requires that you pull bar higher so its a good exercise for your second pull. You can do either in competition but you can obviously do much more in a full squat snatch. Unfortunately for me, I lack the flexibility to do a full squat snatch but I am working on it.
