Long overdue update:
Right, so I switched to strongman for a little while but it wasn't my thing, enjoyed the change but long term, wasn't for me. Switched to a bodybuilding program which johns set me up, first time I've tried volume really, damn it's different. But enjoying it. Starting light & building up. Anyway, this morning, 23/4/12, hit 3 x 10 x 45kg militaries.

I gotta keep up to this better.
So. Cals upped to 4500 daily. Couple more weeks left of bodybuilding then onto a push pull meet. Testing my 1rm's this week. Monday 16th June Some light flies Pec dec & crossovers Military press 52.5kg (116lb)x 1 x 10 & 50kg (110lb) x 2 x 10 Accessory shoulder work Arm fluff

Tuesday 17th July
Tested out my 1rm on squats today followed by my regular workout. A while since I did strength stuff, hit 160kg (355lb) lower than I'd hoped but a few weeks back into strength work & that'll get destroyed. Followed that with 4 sets of squats, leg press & various other bits.

19th July 2012
Tested 1rm on bench this morning. Had no spotter so could of probably gone higher but hit 120kg (265lb). Nor benched for a whole but I was hitting that for 5 & 4 last time I did. Like john said, it's a starting point. Followed that with Dips 5 x 10 @ 25kg Then some other bench stuff & shoulders. Missed arm stuff cause I had to go pick up a tent, me & the girlfriend are going camping tomorrow. Gonna test deads before we set off.

24th July 2012
Went away camping for a few days then hit the beach & met the mother in law. A very good weekend. Anyway before we left I tested my 1rm on deads. Pulled 160kg.
