In shirted benching, a verbal cue is to "spread the bar" which puts more emphasis on the triceps. Another cue is to lock the triceps into your lats which provides the triceps something to push against. The spring bar works those areas and the large diameter grips just add more fun to the equation.

Hopefully SB will report back his experiences with the bar after he has used it a few times

All of SNP's stuff is solid. His MFer bar and fat bar get the most use in my gym. I love the fat bar, wish I had a few of them.
