Wes was and is still right
I met a fellow gym-er yesterday while training. He told me his routine was: run every morning, train 5 days a week, run after training. I thought to myself, wow, he must be really fit. But he's very much on the "plumpier" side. And he's been like this since last year. So no. He might be fit but he definitely is over-training to the max. Funny thing was that he said he lost 30kg. That's 60+lbs. I just didn't know how to react to that, so I was like, "Ok...."
Wes was RIGHT about running and the CNS. Can you imagine how much stress that guy is putting on himself? The total number of high impact footfalls per week? Oh man....
No wonder not much change to his physique. It doesn't help that he focuses a lot on very isolation exercises.
