Bar position on SLDL.

Hi,

When i am doing SLDL's i notice if i just let my arms hang freely at the bottom of the lift, the bar does not touch my legs (or get close). Is this a ok thing to do or must you keep the bar gliding (or close) along the legs like a regular deadlift?
