I am just curious as to why you chose to do a half day TCD. I understand it works well for a lot of people, and I may be answering my own question here but with everyone these days saying that timing doesnt matter, carbs at night is fine etc etc...is there a reason to have a carb cut off? Or is it more of a psychological thing? I mean, all those people doing the WD are eating huge amounts of carbs at night and it seems to work well.

Well when carbs are cut out early by the end of the night you are more depleted and insulin levels are lower, this causes the body to switch to a fat burning mode by liberating fat cells. When insulin is low or non existant at night your body will tend to release GH levels which is a great hormone that assists in the burning phase. Also you are more depleted in the morning when you do morning cardio which will cause you to burn a little more fat.

just an update

morning weigh tis 158lbs

non-training day = 1600ish calories, 80f 20c 200p

training day = 1800ish calories, 75f, 80c, 200p

refeed on weekends, usually just 1 day, not sure about macros but probably around 2200 calories....

I don't know i still feel like i'm stalling
what's going on? I still do LISS cardio, and even started playing tennis more often (tho not intense games as I'm aware of how high impact it can be)

body temps are still goood

I just found it amazing how i went from 2500 calories on training days, slowly dropped by 200 calories after 2 weeks if no results, and now I'm at 1600 and my body weight barely moved at all

I would appreciate any help or suggestions....
I can't believe it's this hard

thanks!

Just a question.
My temperature is still fine.
If 1600 cals still doesn't do it (body fat still the same, body weight hasnt changed either)
should I go lower to 1400?

I feel like it's extremely bizarre because most people would say 1400 is starvation...
but how could I not be losing weight still when I'm doing
1600 non-training
1800 training
and LISS cardio 4-5x a week for 40mins?

yet my body temp is still fine?

Have you ever had anyone go to 1400 cals or even lower?
I'm starting to lose strength due to the low carbs now (20 on non-training, 80 on training)

it hasn't consistently dropped the past 3 months (only lost about 2 lbs probably and that's at best). Overall don't seem to have any changes to body.
Ever since I moved to 1600 cals the fat still doesn't seem to be coming off...

You likely have some bio-chemical issues. If cAMP levels suck, bodyfat loss will suck, if adrenals are shot, bodyfat loses will suck, if mitochondria is sucking, fat loss will suck, etc, etc.

That won't get fixed without help. I quick and dirty stack would be Alpha-T2, ALCAR with Q10, forskolin, TTA, and good old caffeine. All these work different pathways.

And before you even think about that. Most people that don't lose fat while not shutting down metabolism are simply eating more than they think. I can eat 1800 calories in on meal and I have a shitty slow digestive tract.
