My Experience with Exmgtoo as a Trainer (Testimonial)
Don't hire John Pinder (Exmgtoo) as a trainer...if you don't like seeing progress in/outside of the gym.
John has been my trainer for about 2 months now, initially just to finish off what time I had left with Wesley. I trained under Wesley for about 4 months, and during this time, I was cutting and lost about 10lbs and put +100lbs. on my total (885lbs). My bench press, which has always been extremely difficult for me to progress on, did not move at all under the guidance of Wesley (not his fault) and all my lifts had stalled for 3 weeks. Whatever Wes tried with me, resulted in stall after stall after stall, even after taking a deload. Again, this was not Wes' fault, he was still trying to fine tune my workouts. After 2 months with John, I can say that he is in my eyes, not just a trainer. I feel like me and John are not just trainer/client but friend/friend. There have been times where I saw him more as a mentor/uncle and much more than a simple business transaction. There have been occasions where I hit a nice little PR and just felt the urge to tell someone about it right away, so I text message John and he pushes me forward. That's right, text message...how many commercial trainers have that type of relationship with their client? John is a great guy, easy to talk to, very personable. He's an elite-level Powerlifter with many years of experience and knows how to fit a routine to your needs. I was on the verge of giving up after stalling for close to a month on all my lifts, but John has jump started my motivation and pushed me to continue. I can't thank him enough. I look forward to continuing weightlifting and achieving my goals under his guidance. Before (177lbs): Squat: 335lbs. Deadlift:365lbs. Bench:185lbs. (Stalled for 4 months) Total:885lbs. After (184lbs.): Squat: 350lbs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H_2g6GSc9So Deadlift:395lbs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9jIqGp6GWI Bench:195lbs. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a28MquB-P1U Total:940lbs. nice improvements. I struggle the same way with bench. Resets and new grip positions have helped some.
