wet dip belt
Hey IA or others, have a general question. I drive a Jeep and leave my dip belt in the car. I got caught w/ no windows during a bad storm and my dip belt is soaked. It's tough leather and an iron chain, no brand name. But I use it up to 135 lbs. Do you think it's ok to use? I'd hate for it to drop on me in the middle of a set, could be dangerous.

I think it would be OK, but am not an expert in leather or chains. That is more of TopNotchs specialty as he enjoys being dominated.

Let it dry completely and then recondition it with some saddle soap and leather oil. If it was built propperly it should be able to handle getting wet with no problem. You just need to keep it from getting dried out and cracking. Just trying to help out a fellow Jeep owner.
P.S....I used to build custom saddles and I know a little bit about leather... |
