Growth hormone..what is it?
GH is the body’s second most anabolic hormone, following testosterone. Because of this, growth hormone is used and abused by many professional athletes to increase size, strength and muscle density while repairing sore joints, tendons and muscles. GH is taken 'sub-cutaneously', meaning just under the skin in doses ranging from 200-400iu per day. Growth hormone is popular because of it’s ability to increase fat loss and stacked with illegal steroids + test boosters to increase muscle growth via satellite cell expression (creating new muscle out of baby cells).
But, it is aslo anabolic stand alone, too, so don’t let anyone tell you otherwise. It increases levels of 'IGF-1', which is anabolic and also increases the effect of testosterone activation.
Where can you get it?
Growth hormone can be had on the black market for anywhere from $250-$500 USD for a 30 day kit. Unfortunately boosting your growth hormone levels artificially can cause some serious side effects, and almost definitly includes some minor ones that can be just plain annoying. Some of the negative side effects include a direct effect on the growth of tendons and joints, which may lead to numbness and loss of feeling in ones hands and legs. Over time, super levels of growth hormone can cause bone and organ growth (aka Cro-Magnon man syndrome). Now, if growing extra bits of body parts doesnt turn you off...and your still interested in the anabolic affects of GH, you probably want to know about more *Safer* alternatives that dont include shooting yourself with shots of the stuff.
The answer is quite simple. Growth hormone can be increased by following a simple diet, exercise plan and supplementation properly. I will warn you, the effects of GH are not something you are going to feel immediately... like a prohormone persay. You WONT get jacked like some genetic freak in a matter of days or even weeks. Illegal GH injections take at least 2 months to “kick in” and cycles usually last anywhere from 5-7 months for good results. Some natural ways of boosting your GH includes...
- Heavy workouts
-getting proper sleep
- Taking Potassium and a healthy dose of B vitamins can also augment GH release over time and can lead to higher overall GH levels in humans.
-Finally, oral Arginine-Pyroglutamate, Ornithine AKG and other nutrients like L-Dopa can increase the GH response above normal levels.
Some supplement companies are harnessing the power of GH. Bear in mind this is a product that's results are best seen over time, and although methods are being developed to utilize GH faster then injections, and much much safer, you still need to understand like bodybuilding as a sport...that there is no instant gratification, but over time, supplementation, training and dieting, you can experience increased levels of GH that will manifest itself as a superior tool and integral component in you getting stronger, and thus, getting bigger.
