View Full Version : How do I get this fiber out of my GITrack faster?

I took a small dosage of psyllium seed powder last nite, about half the reccomended dosage. Little did I know that I would have to use the restroom about 6 times this morning so far....
I had to leave school today(college) because my stomach was grumbling so much and I was having to use the restroom too much. This is not good
How can I get this fiber out of my system as fast as possible so my digestive track returns to normal operating procedure? :eek:

I don't think that is possible to get it out of your intestines. 1/2 dose of psyllium? Sure its the fiber? I have taken large doses of psyllium and never any problems.
If you want to stop shitting.. Immodium AD but that definately won't restore your digestive tract. You want fiber from oat bran, veggies and rice brans and shit like that, not psyllium (or at least that is my understanding). I think trouble will agree.

Well I dont know wtf is going on. I just got tons of stomach cramping and gas buildup in my stomach, then had to use the restroom like 8 times. And I can only assume it was from the psyllium I took last nite, as I can pretty much eat whatever I want with no problems.

The only thing I can think is you are allergic to psyllium hisk, as 2-3g fiber won't cause a reaction such as that at least I fluctuate quite a bit with no problems. If you are regularly getting 15-20g and then bump it up to like 35-40 then I would expect something similar. I dunno really bro, just don't use psyllium and use oat bran and rice bran fiber, they have a host of benefits besides fiber.
