GABA plus stimulants

When dieting, caffeine is usually used by people. The question is, would using GABA during the day while also on caffeine negate the effects of caffeine or would it just be a waste of time and money?

One would negate the other; however, only within the timeframe of caffeine activity (within one hour of consumption). One is excitatory, the other inhibitory at lower concentrations. There are other effects on the CNS that may or maynot involve gabanergic receptors.
