I have been taking ephedra for about 6-9 months for fat loss and asthma relief. I know it does not have much fat burning effects during prolonged use but it really helped my asthma better than my $100 script. I have stopped taking it but I am having problems staying awake and being motivated in the gym. I have also lost my apitite. Does anyone have any suggestions as to any other supps I can take to get my adrenals going again or a little pre workout kick in the ass?

Actually the metabolic or fat loss effects do not dimish over time unlike the possible energy rush or appetite suppression. The best way to get yourself off of it is to slowly taper down the dose.

I have been off of it for 2 weeks now. I have no motivation to do anything, including working out. I am dropping weight, mostly muscle and have been real weak in the gym. I just am real tired by 5 at night. It sux!

QUIT, never do it again. It was a good thing BEFORE we knew better and had better alternatives. There are a slew of fat-loss supps that do as well, or better than ephed, without the downsides.

I'm curious as well. I recently started taking AC just for energy about once every four days or so (mainly for harder workouts), but I'm really scared of my body adapting to it. What other supplements provide the same energy? And how fast does the body adapt to AC? would I run the risk of taking one does every 4 days?

I recently started using Lipo 6 stuff works great...doesn't give me the shakes, or makes me feel like I'm on speed...but def makes me sweat more while I'm in the gym...
my recent training has been geared more towards increasing my metabolic rate..which is slow...it's def paying off

As with any thermogenic you should cycle it...I usually do 4 weeks on (exp if you're us ing it every day) and then 2 weeks off...this way my body doesn't build a tolerance for it and I need to increase my dose....less stress on the body that way.....you clean it out of your system....just remember that if you've increased your dose from what you started with to taper it down so it's not such a shock to your system
