Hello,

Dave here--I'm working on my squat form and wondering what y'all think. Here's the old video:

http://media.putfile.com/Squat-Form-Work-1

And the new video:

http://media.putfile.com/Squat-Form-Practice

I really tried focusing on pushing my knees out and dropping into the hole, as Sam suggested. A closer stance seemed more natural doing this. I'm working on moving my head back before ascending in the hole.

Any comments are appreciated--thanks!

Best,
Dave

My humble suggestion is to check on how much you're stressing your lower back since you're not going all the way down to the floor but just going beyond parallel and your back looks almost totally bent over, however the angle where the shot was taken might give a different perspective (Optics illusion)
Also try to make all of your squat reps looking front; it seems like the bar slipped off of your traps when you looked to the floor.
My two cents.
Good luck..!
