Push those knees out on the squats. Everything else looks good to me. No doubt that you're deep enough.

Why do I do that? Am I weak in my abductors?

Thanks Mick,

There are numerous possibilities. Weak abductors are one of them, but it's just as likely that your quads are much stronger than your hips and hamstrings.

Start by teaching yourself the movement pattern. Really exaggerate it for the next several workouts. Also, get a mini band, double it and put it around your knees while sitting down and do abductions. Look for volume here more than high resistance. The objective is a little bit of strengthening, but just as important you want to learn the 'feel' of pushing out hard.

Nice work man, how do you like those BB situps? That may be the answer to me being able to get more weight, my DBs only get up 113lbs total weight and when i used to train at a gym i did the 150s. Good deal!

I've done weighted barbell situps on our competition bench. I sit on the bench facing the barbell, hook my feet under the spotter's platform, pick up the bb and go to it.

I *despise* getting on the floor. Getting down there and back up is a pain in the ass!

Yeah, that's my problem too--working out in a health club with health club weights. I can rep the 100 lb. dumbbell all day long, but there aren't any dumbbells beyond 100 pounds.

The tough thing is getting that bad boy into position! Takes two barbells, a rack, a pad, and some persistance. I usually have bruised biceps after doing the situps.

Thanks again, guys. I just got a mini-band in the mail today so I'll be doing dumbbell situps with it Wednesday and abductors on Friday.

Thanks!
