I am just starting to video my lifts and need some good editing software, does anyone know of something good? What do you use and how do you like it?

Only thing I've used is Windows Movie Maker, which came with my PC.

Thanks Mick, i probably have it at home i will check when i get there. Is there a way to make the files smaller?

You can download freeware call Rad & Bink tools that will allow you to convert files and I believe compress them as well.

windows movie maker will squish them down, too.

That's cool, I hadn't found that feature yet. I have to convert the files my camera records to wmv, and I just use bink to compress them at the same time.

I use ULead Video Studio 8. It'll allow you to save as just about any file type: mpg, avi, whatever.

I'm sure you can find a torrent of it out there somewhere.

Wmv file < mpg files.

Yeah, I use Pinnacle at work. It's pretty good, too.

Everyone,
I tryed to use the Windows movie maker that is on my PC and i can open the realtime files that i have. Does anyone know how to work this program? I must be overlooking something. Thanks
