I'm 214 lbs and I want to get to about 175 lbs. To maintain and possibly gain muscle while still losing fat should I be calculating my protein intake by my current weight or the weight I want to reach?

I saw your other thread and under 200g of protein a day won't cut a fat-loss diet well. I would up the protein intake to around 250 and take sme whey shakes to increase the protein.

You can read up on it all over the board. Basically you eat only carbs after your workout and on carb-up days. The rest of the meals is pro-fat.
I think it would be a good way for you to go because you want to lose fat and keep on as much muscle as you can.
