tell me about these kettle balls. thats interesting.

where do you fell it the most?
why are you doing them?
how often and variations?

i love the close stance on deads if for no other reason than just staying tight, compact and getting the arms to hang straight down.

There's a good article on them. Ex they are amazing. I first got them just to change things up. Now I realize they are a whole different ballgame. I use them for GPP and to become more explosive and in general to just become stronger. When I do swings with them like you see I feel it in my lower back like you wouldn't believe. It is the most insane pump ever.

They are really a whole body workout though. Variations are anything you can do with a db or Barbell snatches, cleans, military, floor press, tricep ext, seesaw press, Anything you want . I know a lot of ppl are doing floor presses with them now and are loving them. Here is a quote from louie simmons "it turns your bigger muscles into stabilizers and your stabilizers into bigger muscles".

I hear you have to be careful b/c they are easy to overtrain with and I believe it

I LOVE kettlebells. Theyre great cardio/strengh training. You can do a lot more than just swings too. Passes around the legs, snatches, back raises, and thats just the post chain/core work stuff. They work great for shoulder strength/coordination due to the awkwardness of the lift and the many different gripping options. I put 20# (upped to 435) on my conventional dead in about 2 weeks after I started seriously training with them. IMHO its way more fun than dragging a sled around (sorry IA, please dont ban me;>). Not to mention swinging that thing as hard as you can means you have to grip HARD. Its done a lot for my grip as well.

There ya go EX
I got the super kettlegrips too. Bigger handle. Don't forget you need some standard plates for the outside. You are very good at rigging things up so i'm not to worried about you
