Hi guys,

I got some more videos of recent lifts that need critiquing!

Deadlift:
http://media.putfile.com/Deadlift350x3

Trying to work on not letting my hips fly up--I still need to practice more.

SLDL:
http://media.putfile.com/SLDL305x5

Really heavy SLDLs, tell me how my form looks, especially the last few reps.

Incline:
http://media.putfile.com/Incline185x1

Left arm is weaker than the right arm--I'll work on keeping the bar even.

Box Squat:
http://media.putfile.com/BoxSquat235x3

Heavy ass box squatting--I think the form is pretty good myself--what do y'all think?

Thanks!

you got good strength in your backside no doubt.

stay more upright on your deads and squats. may need to back down on weight a tad to catch your leg strength up to you posterior strength. easy fix.

nice #s

Yes, that's always been the case--started deadlifting 9 months before I started squatting...

Thanks again EXMGQ!

Not bad bro not bad....

I also agree with Ex about keeping yourself more upright. I had the same problem for a long time. What I did to fix it:

1) HEAVY ab work....no 15-25 rep crap. 8-10 HEAVY reps
2) Worked on static strength. I never trained for that before, and holding my reps at the bottom of the lift made a big difference
3) Worked on my lower back...a ton

I went from a 365 Sumo DL to a 425 DL as of this morning in about 6 months....it can be done.

Good luck bro.

I do my box squats off the same setup as you do. How many of the spacers do you use??

Couple of things:

1) I'm definitely doing some heavy ab work. Last week I did sets of 12 reps with a 100 lb. dumbbell plus a 25-lb. plate. Unfortunately, the gym I go to doesn't go any higher on the dumbbells.

2) I'm using 5 spacers plus the step platform.

3) I GM 280x5 (or 3, it's been a month), so my back is pretty tough, relatively speaking.

Center of gravity is always the issue--I always feel like I'm "wrapping" myself around the barbell before starting the deadlift, kinda like I'm going to fall over face-first.

Thanks for the comments guys--I really do appreciate it!
