ok the key words are CHEP and effective here... Im' on a fixed income.... IE unemployed student again living with my parents.

Im' around 240 right now

I was thinking of the following macros to start

protien 350
carbs 150
fats 111

I'll be following exmgqq's simple pling routine and pulling the day after leg and the day after back....I'll probalby alos throw in some morning cardio depending on how my body is feelnig (ie if Im' recoveirng properly)

I have an assload of protien powder... atleast 35lbs left ourta my 50lb bag

I don;t mind eggs.... only thing I'm not rreally big on is tuna.

can anyone help me out with some ideas

PS I can onlny really eat chicken, steak or fish once aday unless ther are left overs... cause my mom has a huge fit if she sees me eating chicken and it's not at sypper time.... I know it's stupid but untill I get me a job not much I can do

Where do you live? Canada?

Cheap food I live off of right now is:

9 lb of oats = $7.00

Chicken = $2.38lb (not frozen)

90% lean ground beef = $2.14lb

JUMBO bag of frozen brocoli = $5.00

2 liters of olive oil = $9.00

then of course multi vit and pro powder but I only consume pro powder PWO and in extreme cases where I dont have some food pre-made

one thing i do is hit the supermarkets about an hour before closing. if they've got a rotisserie/deli counter, they'll often put the barbeque chicken etc that hasn't sold at a very deep discount. another thing to watch for is "last day of sale" for meats - i get steaks sometimes for less than a buck because it's $4-something regular and there's $3 in coupons stuck to them. best score so far: ten steaks cost less than $17.

if you have a giant tiger near you, look in the frozen food section: salmon fillets, 4 for $3.97; cooked shrimp ring (40g protein right there), $3; pollock fillets, $2 for 400gr.

put your foot down with her. there's a lot of things my kids did that i didn't agree with, but i supported them anyway because they weren't hurtful or harmful activities (i just figured they were a waste of time). art supplies, ballet lessons, etc were cheaper than bail money, tobacco, or beer.
