I just recieved my caffine pills from bulk nutrition and I started taking them on my Tuesday workout with my pre-workout meal, sup stack. I used 200 Mgs and I didn't really notice a difference. Then on my Squat day I was draggin ass- I had been doing some labor work earlier in the day and didnt get alot of sleep the night before, etc... So I uped it to 450 mg- and man it kicked i hard when I hit the gym- it definately gave me a boost but I got the gitters and got jumpy as well, I actually loved the feeling. I am just curious if it is Ok to use that amount on a consistant pre-workout basis? or if I should just use it when I need a boost.
and if that jittery, jumpy feeling is ok for my system ?

I have read that 800mg is a limit on your body, however I am not sure if 450 in one dose is good for you. That is the same thing as drinking 5.5 cups of coffee at one time, just for reference. IA or BJ being wise men probably know for sure...... Just remember you are taking a stimulant that effects your pumper and we like our pumpers don't we? A friend of mine got hooked on caffeine pills for 7 years and he went to the doc and they told him basically his pumper is defective. A valve is no longer functioning properly, he didn't care and kept on taking them. I will let you know when he quits coming to work......

You might want to play around a bit with green tea and chocamine (theobromine) in addition / instead of caffeine.. they won't mess with your CNS as much.. 450mg is quite a bit of caffeine (though I will admit that I consume well over a gram per day on a regular basis)

A friend of mine got hooked on caffeine pills for 7 years and he went to the doc and they told him basically his pumper is defective. A valve is no longer functioning properly, he didn't care and kept on taking them. I will let you know when he quits coming to work......

OMFG you guys are nuts LOL.
I used to be a big caffeine addict. Probably 400-500gm/day was normal on a daily basis while cycling. It didn't better my performance on the bike, in fact i took 300mg before a time trial and my HR jacked up to 97% during the entire ride which is really bad, felt so sick and spewed at the end. Never took caff before a race after that.
