On tv last night they did a story on the 3hr diet that is apparently the hottest thing right now in the US. All they basically said was that you eat whatever you want every 3hrs......
Anyone actually have the true information about this?? I eat all the time and i don't drop sh%t LOL. I'm guessing it's for really obese people??

ROFLMFAO!!!!!!
sorry - anybody doing any kind of weight-training worth the effort follows this system.
you don't eat whatever you want - you split your day's nutrients up between five or six small meals (seven if you're like me and only sleep 4hrs a night) and eat every three hours.

Exactly right. I'm always eating through the day, i don't see why this is suddenly such a breakthrough? I thought all the diets out there advicated 6-7 meals/day?
Ahhh ok so it's a split nutrient thing. Typical bullshit in the media. The segment specifically said, 'you can eat whatever you want every 3 hrs' that's why i was like WTF?? There's always a catch but they never tell you until you pay. I was thinking how cool it would be to eat 6 big mac's each day and lose weight......

it's typical - bodybuilders and powerlifters know things, but it takes about ten years for the mainstream to go "hey, you know something......?"
duh.

There are a few chicks in the office that basically try a new diet every month. When a new one comes out, BANG they're right into it. None of them have done anything dramatic, just a ploy to get money out of people.

not so's i notice - it's been like that my whole life from infancy: sleep two hours, up for a half-hour to an hour, sleep two hours, get bored with the whole thing and get up. sometimes, i'll get lucky, stoned, or drunk and actually sleep six or seven hours. every so often, i crash and sleep round the clock for a couple days, then back to the usual.
no biggie.

I do that a lot when I have school and work really spaced out. I can't keep a normal sleep pattern. Sleeping pills are the only way I can keep a normal sleeping pattern, but I don't want to get hooked on them so I stopped pla ying around once I knew they were an option if I wanted to go that route.
I swear I miss high school lifting. I'd get up for school, eat make meals for class and do the school thing. COme home, eat and then sleep till 2-3 AM. GO to the gym come home and eat then sleep till school. THen of course I'd screw it all up, but it worked out where I'd sleep twice a day and lift somewhere in there as I could find time.
