is it 6 weeks on 6 weeks off?
monday will be the beginning of week 4, up about 6-8lbs, lots of bloating.
creatine doesn't need to be cycled, the kidney damage rumors are false for the most part
i had some tests done not to long ago and they came out perfect
if you're worried about your kidneys, get them checked out
as for cycling for efficacy, i don't know if it would help any

Most people just stay on. If you decide to go off just to check efficiancy, or for other reasons two weeks off is fine. There are no toxicity issues and the kidney thing brought up YEARS ago was likely a supp company paying a writer to say it that didn't have creatine in their supp line yet.

I started a creatine cycle about a month ago. Im gonna stay on for three months (12 weeks) then Im gonna stay off for one month. I read that creatine levels in muscle return to normal after a month, so to stay off for a shorter period doesnt make sense to me. According to what I read, after youre creatine reserve is depleted, you start the cycle again and see the same strength benefits as your first cycle. I havent tried it before but it sounds alright.

Try using creatine in very small amounts and POST WORKOUT ONLY.
2-3 grams post.
This may just be a way to get all the benefits without the negatives (bloat, cramps, nausea, etc). Saving money is a bonus.
