I just wanted to take the time to thank IA for for all the help with my training/diet. He is a hell of a guy to deal with, professional and anwsered all of my questions. He was there when I called about 99% of the time and if he wasn't he always called back promptly. I really can't say enough good things.

Go sign your sorry ass's up you wont be dissapointed!!!

I have always been a hard gainer (like its easy for anyone right?) anyway I started with Wes 8 weeks ago @ 197 and now I am weighing in about 205 with only a very slight increase in bodyfat( wich is my fault for eating out to much). I wasn't taking any supplements through out these 8 weeks and have been lifting for about 10 years (the first 8 of which my head was straight up my ass compared to the remaing where my head was only partially up my ass) I am currently 24 years old and 5 '10 and ~12%bf

A pic from about 2 weeks ago:

The lighting makes me look a little more cut than I really am...and damn i need a tan.

Here are my max's before I started training with IA 8 weeks ago.

Bench: http://www.apexlogik.net/lift/sax-bench-275.WMV

Dead: http://www.apexlogik.net/lift/mad-dead-365.WMV

Squat: http://www.apexlogik.net/lift/mad-squat-375.WMV

And here are my max's after 8 weeks:

Bench: http://www.apexlogik.net/lift/mad-301-bench.WMV +26LBS

Dead: http://www.apexlogik.net/lift/Mad-425-dead.WMV +60LBS

Also the dead lift was done with a toe that I just broke two days ago while at the gym....Ill let XX fill you guys in on the details of exactly how that happened :)

Heres what my toe looked like the night before the dead lift.

I think i could have got a little more on dead if ithe toe wasn't hurting like a SOB ...kind of fucked with my concentration.

The reason I didn't max on squats after 8 weeks was because i just realized my form was sucking...wasn't going low enough so I am basically going to try to learn how to squat all over...plus my toe said that it had enough fun for one night.

thanks again Wes for your website and training!

thats sweet progress. There are'nt many people I know that go at it in the gym harder than this guy. Nice pull with that broke ass toe!

For anyone curious he was unracking part of my 515 squat and forgot there was a 10lb plate on the end, mainly cause he was looking at a nice female specimen, all 5'10 of her. He yanked the 45 of and down came the ten right on his toe...............dumbass.

oh, and hes not that pretty...the makeup helps.

I've now had the chance to watch the vids. Good stuff - though did you keep your ass on the bench - its hard to tell from the angle.

it came off quite a bit after further review, however, the ruling on the field stands, the weight did indeed go up.

Absolutely - The only way I'd move that kind of weight is if I used my feet.

When ever i first started with wes i told him that i wanted to end up around 220-230 with about 10-12%bf and want to be able to maintain that weight naturally. He thougth that I needed to get my strenght up first and put me on a two day a week west side...which is the shit! Ive been making solid strenght gains on this and pretty good size gains as well.

Update:

Just Maxed on bench again this week.

I got a new PR of 315 on bench. Finally hit "dem three wheels" as XX says :) I also weighed in this week at a little over 217lbs. Ive noticed a slight increase in bodyfat and thats mostly because ive been skipping my cardio sessions

Thanks for all the help Wes!

Good job Madhatter, keep those weights moving. Hopfully i can keep everything moving in the right direction but all of this running i am doing is making it hard.

Im weighing in about 215lbs right now...I have been just trying to maintain lately. Personal shit/stress kind of got in the way of lifting. But monday its back to it!

Thanks DEANO! How is your progress coming along? Running sucks. Genetiacally Im very predisposed to being a skinny ass so If i start throwing in frequent heavy cardio it makes my gains really slow down. Why are you running so much anyway?

Everything is still moving in the right direction. Thats funny because genetically i am the exact opposite as you and we are really close to the same size. I was 285 when i started training seriously about 4 years ago. The reason i am running so much is because i am going to be applying for the New Jersey State Police soon and for the accadamy you run ALOT so i might as well get in shape for it.
