Here is an article that some might be interested in. It deals with extreme stretching (as used in DC training) and has some useful diagrams. I'm no sports scientist so cannot comment on the science.

Does anyone employ this type of stretching outside DC routines? - can anyone vouch for it effectiveness in developing muscle shape (as Dante comments on, in the cycles on pennies thread). I have tried it at times and definitely helps with soreness (although the first few times I was sore as hell! Even now, the day after, I’m feeling it, but after that, nada)

Thats a good artice. I do a stretching routine after every training session. IA has the details so maybe he can post it.
What I found is that I have a better range of motion and I just feel looser. As far as getting bigger, I dont know about that.
