Hello there,

The names Logan.

I'm 19, turn 20 in october, and I want to make sure the last four and half months of my teenage years are spot on, so I'm getting trained by John now and starting a log here to track my progress. I can't update with all details of my training/diet/supps, but I'm following EVERYTHING EXACTLY as John has laid out, every calorie/carb/protein/fat/exercise/supplement. Today's day 9 and I've already lost 4.8 lbs.

182.4 lbs 5'9"
Conv. Deadlift: 420x1
Bench: 250x4 285x1
Decline: 275x3
Guillotine: 225x4
Front Squat: 225x5

Drop bodyfat
Get stronger on all lifts
Keep my knee healthy

A little about me:

In the fall I'll be a sophomore at Indiana State University. I'm a Sports Psychology/Physical Education Exercise Science double major. Right now I am currently doing field work/research with the Biology Department and I am getting paid to live in a hotel, get 35$/day for food, and getting paid a nice amount to catch bats in the area. So, basically life right now is easy, I have a lot of time to read, sit in the hottub quite frequently, eat, lift, and relax. Stress is basically eliminated from my life right now.

Today was a great lifting day!! Pr'd on 3 lifts, which is fine by me!!

Dimel Dead: 225x10 today. ( one of the Pr's) Very happy with this, and felt like I could go a lot heavier.

Diet up to this point has been 100% spot on, tomorrow's a cheat day though so I'm VERY excited.

Thanks a lot! I'm excited to see how things go with John, so far the workouts have been very intense and enjoyable, so things have been perfect thus far.

Today's my cheat day, and I started it out with some rally's, crispy chicken sandwich and some curly fries, already getting hungry again, about to get me some more food :)

Yesterday's cheat day consisted of the following:
Arby's Crispy Chicken Sandwich
Curly Fries
Regular Coke ( first time in yearssssssssssssssssssssss, just wanted the calories)
cinnamin pie
garlic breadsticks
italian beef sandwich

overall, if you can't tell, it was a tasty day :), but by the end of the day I was glad it was over and glad I don't have to eat that shitty food all week until next saturday! woot.

Good lift today, COMPLETELY DESTROYED ME. took it slow because i'm still trying to heal my knee, but still got a really good lift in. Tomorrow is day 14 of perfect dieting/lifting/supplementating, and it FEELS GOOD BRUH. Already noticeable fat loss.

It's been a few days since I've posted, I got a new phone and literally can't set the thing down. HAH. Yesterday I Dimel Dead 235x10 ( it was easy). Bodyfat is droppppping. Now to get on to eating whatever the hell I like today :D

Lowered my starting position on zercher squats today, had to go down in weight, but it felt GREAT. Also my Paused Squats are finally starting to move and my knee has been completely pain free the last few days :D

It's been a while since I've updated, but I've been keeping busy lifting/eating. I have now been getting my macro nutrients perfect for 30 days straight on John's diet. I'm dropping bodyfat like crazy and my lifts are going up. Today I beasted the 90's for Paused DB Bench, which is a new PR. I'll update tomorrow with my leg work, weight, and maybe a picture update. :D

Today's a day off. Recovery methods will be a big part of today, I did L.I.S.S. for 35 minutes this morning (fasted) and afterwards I did contrast showering. Later today I plan to foam roll all body parts, stretch out, and use the lacrosse ball to get some deep tissue spots. My right shoulder is SUPER sore, so I'll have to make sure it's good to go for tomorrow. :)

Squat has been struggling, mostly because of knee pains ( i only experience the knee pains while squating now, and have been trying different stances. ) I'll be sending a video John's way next week. Anywhoo: PR'd today.

DB swings 120x10 ( with each arm ) BIG PR :D

Started back up in the gym this week, been keeping it a little bit lighter since i'm coming back from deload, but it feels great, can't wait to deadlift tomorrow, SO STOKED.

Haven't updated in a while, but hitting the gym hard, finally in the 12-14% bodyfat area, time to get some more mass on me! I got 240x5 on guillotine today. Amazing workout as well.

Today was day 65 with john by the way, and down 16.5 lbs total, strength has increased greatly as well.

i can tell from the conv that i need to get my hips lower and my chest higher, but this was the first time conv deadlifting in a long while. i'll make sure to do that next time.
