I'll be posting my workouts here from now on. I will be resetting my maxes and re-starting the 531 by Jim Wendler. I have used the 531 with success in the past, but strayed away - and failed. I am going to fix this...and find my niche again.

My current maxes are:
B - 165
S - 220
D - 345

My starting maxes will be low, and I will not push the last set to muscular failure as most people have been doing. I will simply aim for a couple reps past the prescribed reps. If I get it - great..if not, hit my prescribed reps and GTFO.

I absolutely suck with eating. I eat like a 12 year old girl. I will put as much effort as I can to fix this.

Let's get sh*t done..

5/3/1 is a great program. What is your assistance going to look like? And don't worry about the eating, you'll eventually hit the point where you get really hungry around meal times.

I plan to use the Triumvirate Method.

Very simple, compound exercises as assistance. I hate machines. I only resort to them if I have to work around my injury (shoulder tendinitis).

I am doing close grip benching only because wide grip benching hurts my shoulders. I think it's better in the long run too.

Everything else is the same.

hows your bench form? are you elbow tucking and arching?

With a close grip bench, the tuck is already there. And yes, I use a decent arch with pinched shoulder blades.
