Hey all!

I'm a lot weaker than I used to be. I ended up not lifting for about 2 months due to sickness followed by winter break followed by laziness. Anyways I've started up again.

Here's my numbers:
Age: 17
Weight: 185
Height: 5'7.5" (I will defend that half inch to the death)
BF: High? I dunno

Bench: 195, formerly 205
Squat: 245, formerly 275
Deadlift: 315, formerly 365

Total: 755, formerly 845

SPBR: Doing the flat bench day twice instead of flat followed by incline
Cardio: 40mins LISS on treadmill 3x per week

From yesterday:
------------------------------------------------
BB Bench:

3x3 @ 195lbs

DB Inclines:

3x8, 1x12 @ 80lbs (40lb DB's)

Thanks man! Good to be back.

Anyways, today's stuff

--------------------------------------------
Squats
2x5 @ 250lbs: Funny story. Thought I had 255 on the bar, but I forgot to put on the other 5... didn't notice until I was done lol

Hammer Grip Chins
BWx6x6x5x4: Working back up to 4x6. Used to be able to do 4x6 with 10 added, but I guess I'm about 10lbs heavier so...

Curlzzz
2x8, 1x10 @ 60lbs
-------------------------------------------

Total is now back up to 760... Only 85 away from my old total...

Nah, Chuck is a spy/sci-fi show that features this lovely lady. To be fair it is aimed at 17-21yr olds, I'd say, so it might not be your bag. But you HAVE to appreciate Yvonne here :naughty:

Sorry about the absence

I'm gonna try 5/3/1 Boring but big for a few cycles, see how it goes

BB Bench

135x5
155x5
175x11

2min rest

95x10
95x10
95x10

estimated 1rm (EPLEY): 239

DB Row (weight per arm)
50x10
50x10
50x10
50x10
50x10

--------------------------

I cut the bench assistance from 5x10 to 3x10 because it was too much for my poor little triceps :D

My opinion may just be based off of one workout, but I really like this format so far. I'm looking forward to continuing this program.

Squat day
Squats:

165x5
195x5
215x12

2min rest

95x5
95x5
95x5

Estimated 1rm (EPLEY): 301

I don't really think of the EPLEY 1rm as my real 1rm, just as a metric by which to measure my workouts. Next time I squat I'll be doing 225, so by the formula I have to get at least 11 reps to get a e1rm of 307

I was gonna do a hamstring movement afterward but I could barely walk after that so i went home

also, that's my first time squatting any weight for more than 8 reps, so tomorrow should be fun to say the least :D

I looked like an old lady walking out of the gym on my very first BBB squat day. I had not done any squats over 5 reps previous to starting 5/3/1. I adapted the next week So hopefully you will be fine too.

85x5
95x13

2min rest

55x10
55x10
45x10

Estimated 1rm (EPLEY): 136

Chinups:
20 reps in 5 sets: BWx6x4x5x3x2

Never done much overhead pressing before. Hopefully I can get some mass on my shoulders lol
