Just to give you guys an idea of what i eat.

3,114: cals

95.2: fat

212.4:carbs

347.3: protein

I usually eat a bit less protein, but due to the fact i was STARVING to death at around 7pm i had to cram down the protein, oh and carbs are a little lower on non workout days, gonna go abit higher today because i'm out kayaking.

Later i'll be pulling atleast 145 x 3 , though if the reason why i could only pull 140 x 3 last time was due to issues i was having that day, then i'll add some more and go for 150+ reps.

Leg Press: 5 plates a side x 10 (hard!)
3 plates x 20 (this was supposed to be for 10 because the set before was brutal, but i got 10 easy and thought i might as well bang out another 10 NTF)

Yesterday was the last workout before the deload, i got there and my joints were VERY bad. Decided to do 3 sets of bench and decided from that that my CNS was not primed and my joints weren't getting better, managed to get 176 x 2 which is ok but i probably had more in me. Gonna deload this week, pound some food down and restart the program starting from the upper day that i didn't complete, feels AMAZING starting a cycle benching 176+ for reps. (yes i know that is not a good weight for the guys reading) but it makes me happy and 2 plates on the bar would be awesome.

Completely crushed, CNS has been bollocks for full body lifts for about a week now, i'm 5 fucking workout after the deload and i need a good rest. W/e gonna deload next week and start back up again. I done one set of deadlifts today which was horseshit so i'm not listing the workout because i went home because i knew that doing a bunch of taxing stuff would run me into the ground.

For anyone who's wondering why i'm so crushed, that is what happens when you weigh 210+ with a horrible strength/bodyweight ratio and you attempt to rock climb. Does this mean anything in the long run?? Nope.
After the i get my head around the initial depression and anger(which is unavoidable for me) i'll be fine and back on track soon.

TimeForMass
12-14-2009, 11:35 AM
Done a simple deload workout today nothin much, body feels crushed. Ah well i'll be good for some PR's when i'm fresh.

TimeForMass
12-15-2009, 12:14 PM
Just got my new routine, looks like i'm gonna be kicking some ass.
I'm really excited, looks VERY taxing, i have a strong feeling that the first time around i'll be deloading after 2 weeks in. That is fine, if i can work up to be doing 3 or 4 weeks on it with constant progression then i will absouloutly take off :D

TimeForMass
12-21-2009, 10:05 AM
Okay so it was my first workout today, i have just gotten over a winter cold, but i guess the aftermath of it is still floating around. I felt all beaten up lifting today, built up to a 115 x 4 squat, after that it all went down hill fast, my bench lost around 15lbs. I'll try again wednesday and take friday off.

TimeForMass
12-23-2009, 09:03 AM
Deadlifts: 95 x 5
107.5 x 5
125 x 5
140 x 5
155 x 3 (Same number as last time i pulled, i didn't PR because last time i deadlifted i was very crushed, and a very crushed body doesn't get stronger...)

Military Press: (these were awesome, i done the first two sets and decided to go all out on the last set and was pleasently suprised)
32.5 x 10
37.5 x 10
50 x 10 (110lbs)

My bench has dropped 10lbs because i got crushed and took a week off, bench goes on a slow decline back to 135 every time i quit benching/lifting, no big deal i'll get it back soon. No workout this friday because the gym is shut, so only 1 workout this week and i'll do 3 from next week onwards. Till next time.

TimeForMass
12-28-2009, 08:46 AM
Squat: 70 x 5
80 x 5
90 x 5
add belt
107.5 x 5
117.5 x 5 (+5lb + 1 rep)

Rows: 42.5 x 5
50 x 5
55 x 5
60 x 5
72.5 x 5 (5lb pr) (gonna stick with it another session so i can do it completely controlled)

Good workout felt awesome, squat is really getting higher now, rows are done in strict form and curls are up to 88lbs x 10.

TimeForMass
12-30-2009, 08:00 AM
Good Session!, had an upset stomach but that is nothing a good old pull can't fix :D

Deads touch n go: 95 x 5
107.5 x 5
125 x 5
142.5 x 5
157.5 x 3 (345lbs) (gonna stick with this and get all 5 next week.)

Military Press: 37.5 x 10
42.5 x 10
52.5 x 9

Just a reminder for people who think i'm weak or/and train two lifts a session, all weights are in KG's and i am an IA client so i only list two of the lifts and keep the full workouts in my book journal.

I am really chasing my tail with flat bench press right now, here is why:

To bring up my bench all i can do is bench bench bench and more bench, quit benching and i feel like a drunk drug addict next time i bench, and the weight lightens a good 10lbs at least.
A tiny difference in form, rep speed etc throws my form off and weight goes back down, my bench is 11lbs lower than my pb like a month ago right now.

I've think another lift like dips would serve my pushing movement much better and i'll have to speak to IA after his vacation about it, or maybe he will chime in.

TimeForMass

Good again, PR's except bench

Squats: 70 x 5
80 x 5
90 x 5
105 x 5
120 x 5 (5lb PR YEA!)

Military Press: 37.5 x 10
42.5 x 10
52.5 x 11 (+ 2 reps, gonna go 55kg next time :D)

Good workout, Bench is out, it's really a rubbish lift for me, it is the worst lift for MY body that i have ever done. Im subbing it for dips and i'll discuss it with wes after his vacation.

TimeForMass
01-04-2010, 11:20 AM
And again, all went well, I dipped today like i said, felt great, at around 215 i think i done ok for even 1 rep for me. That's like a 200 bench???

Squats: 70 x 5
80 x 5
90 x 5
105 x 5
122.5 x 5 (wohooo 5lb PR)

Dips: Bw x 3
Bw x 3 (much better, got the groove of it)
Bw x 6 (top set, all reps were low enough)

Next time i'll go and smash some deads :D

TimeForMass
01-06-2010, 08:21 AM
Ok well workout went fine, on deads i fcked up, i think it was grip issues but it may be a mixture of other things, i don't know why my grip got weaker, it's usually never any bother, especially when i pull once a week, W/e.

Deads: 95 x 5
110 x 5
125 x 5
140 x 5
157.5 x 1.5

weight is lowish but it will take a quick rise i bet it. I'll be adding 11lbs while i can to this while it is a new movement, yes it is a completely differint movement IMO for me than touch and go deads.

Deads, full stop: 85 x 5
100 x 5
110 x 5
125 x 5
140 x 5

Incline Db: 35 x 10

How do you feel about the pause at the top for dumbbell row?

It allows me to use a sensible weight, i could by all means use 100+ db's for really sloppy form but i like to use a little swing with the 85's and the pause at the top ensures that i'm not being to crazy with my weight selection, this way of DB rowing tears up my back more than strict rowing does.

Great workout, not so much big PR's but progressive nontheless, btw 5lbs on squat is very awesome so that went well.

Squat: 80 x 5
90 x 5
105 x 5(this feels... well lets just say different without my belt, not ME though)
115 x 5 (wow this feels easy with a belt)
132.5 x 5 (5lb PR, 3 plates real soon)

Db Row, with a little momentum: 65 x 10
70 x 6
90 x 8 each arm, 6 reps good form a little jerking.

Btw Db row is weight in lbs, squat is in kg, 132.5kg is 292lbs.
