First of all, I am a 15 year old Korean.

Stats:
Height: 5'11" - 6'0"
Weight: 200 lb
Body Fat: too much
Arm: 15.25 in
Shoulder: 51 in
Chest: 44.5 in
Waist: 36 in
Thigh: 25.5 in

Bench: 210 lb
Squat: 310 lb
Deadlift: 310 lb

Today was crappy workout, not even worth putting up...

Cardio:
HIIT: Sprint Curves, jog the straight x4
Suicides: Width of Football Field x4(1 set) x4
"Happy" 25s: 25 yard Spring Right into 10 rep push ups then 10 rep Jump Squats x3

Crappy workout this whole week... Below normal lifts.... Didnt do full workout cause I was pissed at my self and my new gloves...

Like 2nd-3rd String Guard, not set though, No pads yet, might even make D end... But Who Knows, when I become fast enough, FB or Linebacker spot opens up for me, Honestly not much good competition on Linebacker and FB, but Lots on the line... Im one of the smallest one the line (as in one of the least fattest) but 2nd strongest. And Thats the reason My coach hates me for that, Im the 2nd strongest on JV and not even top 5 or even top 10

I live in cali also, I mean I think I live real close, maybe I go to the same gym as you perhaps, I go to the one24 hour by the AV mall--not for long though, I am putting together a home gym all i need is a bench.

Nope, I go to a YMCA... Honestly not too good, its small, and Im the only guy that squats... also deadlift

haha I see, at least they let you deadlift, I have heard bad things about YMCA!

No big deal my 24 hr fitness sucks too, cant wait to be out of there completely!

Today 2.5 hours of Football practice as always

and today is legs day, doing 20 rep squats today, dont feeling out going all heavy today...

if u have 2.5 hours football practise frequently, i hope u on a 2 day or at most 3 days a week routine

4 days of practice, and I do the Simple Power routine thing. so 4 days of working out... Honestly Im not in alot of times, so... Coach hates me alot... I mess up too much, Like when Im supposed to go pull and go up the hole to be the lead blocker, I end up blocking the d end, because I got confused with another play that Im supposed to do that... and lots of stuff like that...

simple power based routine is 3 days a week btw

are u missing blocks coz you're mentally tired? if so, i'd consider a 2 days a week routine, coz honestly 4 daysx2.5 hours of intense practise in the hot sun is brutal as it is

and you're on a calorie deficit for cutting too

You are right, IDK, I feel like Shit after practice and before workout, but the workout kinda revives me... IDK how to explain it... I dont feel over worked or anything

How are you working out so much? I'm always injured from practice 2x a week or a game 1x a week lol. I couldn't imagine getting 4 practices in a week while doing a workout designed for the off season/BBers.

:(I really dont know... Its mentally frustrating cause Im not too good with football, always trying to get bigger stronger faster... Well I went :smashcomp: so I go on th computer a lot Less now.

I just eat and I recover somehow...

Yea, But by the tenth rep, I still had like 5-10 reps in my legs but felt like puking cause I ate like 2 cup of chicken with 1 cup of rice about 1 hour before... and the belt squeezing my stomach... Not too good...

we are gonna do it until the 23rd and a few week rest then august something we start hell week and get pads and around September 3rd or 4th the first game

Damn I wish we had a chance for no pads.. we have no spring summer training (I think its banned in where I live or something like that), than the day school starts we start full contact.

Hmm ya here in canada at my school we would do a 5 day full contact little camp right before summer break. This is just to give us a taste of how prepared we need to be, and then during summer the guys are more likely to train. My summer holiday last year consisted of weight training, plyometrics, conditioning, and strict strict diet. I was with Wes back then. It was well worth it :)

IDK what to say... Last week I got 295x3 on deads, didnt even get 1 rep of it today... I usually do 155x5 for power cleans, IDK, may be the weird transition from a all out strength move to a power move might be the problem... The reason I dont leg press any more is because I go to a YMCA (Known for its pansieness) and I do the whole stack 12-14 reps.. So I was like why not go do something more productive for football, thats why I power clean instead...

I squat like 295x3 might even get more now and I dont count the dead lift if my form sucks, so that means low butt

2 hours of practice... that includes 120 yards of sled pushing(sleds had 90lb on them and 4 sets of 30 yards=120)

The sleds were not bad... Idk why half the team was all puking and stuff.... It wasnt hard either... I LOVED IT

Squat day today...

Im gonna start having 2 a day practices starting august 20 something... probably 2 hours each... IDK if I should Lift or not during that week... cause we go back to regular 2 hour practice 31


IDK how to make time to lift when school starts and Im gonna be sophomore ... it actually counts for school... IDK man.. I need advice...

Ya man working out in-season will give you a BIG advantage over the other kids. Most dont workout in-season, and by the end they loose a ton of strength and mass. You dont need to do a full out 5 day or anything, Just a SIMPLE 2/week will be good, Sat/Sun.

Saturday you can do upper, Sunday lower. Low volume.

Next big thing is to EAT HARD your gonna need it man. Guys use to make fun of me for eating a meal before practice, untll I ran their ass over. eating is a huge deal in-season, if you slack, your gonna shrink (unless your a genetic freak)

Make sure you give your all in practice too, be very technical, listen to the coaches, review your footwork and continue to critique yourself every day, ask yourself how can you get better.

I did average 1.5 less reps in incline than last week

My shoulders arent that good... :rockband:

well according to exrx.net... Im about novice in military press but intermediate in the other lifts... except cleans and Im almost there in deads ...Interesting...

Well Mondays are always crappy for me...
