View Full Version : This is my football workout program and I'm not sure if I should do it or not

We workout monday, wednesday, and friday.

We have 3 stations, power cleans and shrugs; auxillaries (incline bench and dumbell pullovers); Bench, squat, t-bar rows, and lat pull.

This never changes and for everything we use pyramids except auxillaries, shrugs, t-bar rows, and lat pulls. Bench and Squats are 4 sets as well as power cleans.

All of this we do 3x a week and I can't tell if it seems like over training or not. Mostly I am concerned with bench and squat. Anyways, right now I am doing IA's power routine and not doing my football workout which I can get myself out of doing. But I don't know which one I should do, I'm used to the football workout but even though IA's lacks my preffered volume I figured I needed some change so I'm on the second week of his.

Anyways, questions, concerns, advice?

Learn to not be so OCD, you're barely on week 2 of IA's workout. You're not going to see results instantly but if you're eating enough and training correctly you will get stronger and you will get bigger. Just have some patience.

ap, teens aren't allowed to give advice here.

Snowblind a lot of high school S & C programs suck like your football one.. Stick to IA's power based routine.
