Yeah, any thought about going back to squatting in running shoes is officially gone...

Seemed mostly like a balancing problem. Lol, he should have just thrown the bar back when he was stable on his knees.

Guys, what do you usually do when squatting on a squat rack and finding that you wont be able to complete the rep???

for some reason i find it more disturbing that this is called a squat thrust. Whoever posted it up on that site to make fun of him should at least know WTF he is doing.

but yes video is still funny.

If its in a power rack then I have the bars set and i just squat down a half inch deeper or so and rest the bar back.

If your without a rack then you will have to get your back flat and let it roll off your back. Or yell for your mother :D.

Guys, what do you usually do when squatting on a squat rack and finding that you wont be able to complete the rep???

I have had maximum bad luck, never being member in a gym who had a squat rack. Depending on where I lived, those/the gyms who did have squat rack had too many other disadvantages too chose over the gym who had everything I needed except for a squat rack.
So, I have had to try to get to know very closely where my limit is. And when I test my limit and am unsure if i will make it or not, I use one or 2 spotters.
One time I used one spotter during my diet on a 1-rep attempt at a weight lower than my personal best, but it was way too heavy for me which I wasnt prepared for. This meant that everything went so fast that my spotter couldnt rescue me (since I was much weaker than I thought and my gloyogen levels low) so the bar fell behind my back. Luckily, neither me nor my spotter got injured.
But from now on I use 2 spotters when trying for new personal records or occasions when I might fail.

Mmm if they dont know how to squat, most likely they wont know how to spot...

Ive felt once before...wasnt pretty, but at least i got out of it without an injury!
